Create AI Characters and Scenarios with ReBot Character Universe

Create AI characters, interactive stories, and Character Games in ReBot Character Universe. Design a personality, set the scene, and share your creation.

What makes an AI character interesting? It might be a distinctive personality, a secret to uncover, or a role that gives the conversation a purpose. In ReBot Character Universe, you can bring these ideas together to create an interactive experience of your own.

Character Universe, also known as Character Games, lets you design AI characters and scenarios for conversation, learning, games, and role-play. Start with a few sentences, choose the experience you want, and build from there.

Start with a Character Worth Talking To

Your character description guides how the AI behaves. Instead of writing only a name or profession, explain what makes the character distinctive: its personality, speaking style, knowledge, and motivations.

For example, “a history teacher” is a starting point. “A curious history teacher who uses everyday comparisons, asks short questions, and encourages the learner to explain their reasoning” gives the interaction a clearer direction.

For a fictional character, you might describe a cautious space explorer who needs your help but is reluctant to reveal what happened aboard the ship.

Choose the Right Kind of Experience

ReBot Character Universe offers four main categories. Each one gives your character a different purpose:

  • Chat: Focus on the character’s personality and the conversation you want to have.
  • Learn: Add a subject and a learning goal for a teaching character.
  • Game: Define a character, a scene, and a clear objective to work toward.
  • Role-play: Establish a setting where the story can develop through dialogue and choices.

Choose the category that fits your idea before writing the details. A mystery with an answer to discover suits Game, while an open-ended encounter may work better as Role-play.

Give Your Scenario a Clear Starting Point

A useful scenario tells you where you are, who you are talking to, and why the interaction matters. Depending on the category, you can also define your own role and the goal.

For example: you are a visitor at a museum after closing time. A valuable object has disappeared, and the museum director knows more than they admit. Your goal is to identify the thief and the hiding place.

This setup gives the conversation direction. You have a reason to ask questions, a character to question, and something to discover.

Choose a Face, Scene, and Voice

ReBot lets you select a character appearance and a background that suit your idea. An astronaut can stand against a space-themed setting, while a wizard might appear in a castle.

You can also choose whether to use voice or interact through text. These presentation options help shape the experience, while your written description guides the character’s behavior.

Try Your Character and Refine the Details

Once you create the experience, start a conversation and see whether the character behaves as you intended. Does it have a recognizable personality? Is the setting clear? Does the goal give you something meaningful to do?

If the interaction feels vague, refine the description. A few specific details can be more useful than a long list of unrelated traits.

Share Your Character Games with Others

You can keep your creation for yourself, share it by link, or choose to publish it on the ReBot website. Other users can then discover the scenario and open it in their own ReBot app.

Publishing the experience does not automatically publish your private conversation history. You share the character and scenario, while your personal chats remain separate.
