Beyond Text: Interactive Actions Arrive in ReBot AI Character Chat

Character chat becomes more interactive in ReBot AI. Use action emojis to offer flowers, gently stroke your robot, or throw a tomato—and see how it responds.

A conversation can change with a gesture. A gift can bring warmth, a playful interruption can spark surprise, and an unfriendly action can lead to a very different response. In the latest version of ReBot AI, these interactions are becoming part of character chat.

Chat in Character Universe now supports on-screen physical interactions. Alongside writing messages, you can tap action emojis to interact with the robot—and receive both visual reactions and spoken responses that acknowledge what you did.

Give Your Conversation Another Way to Express Itself

Want to show affection, offer a gift, or test your character's patience? Choose an available action emoji to gently stroke the robot, give it flowers, throw a tomato, or deliver a virtual punch.

These are optional actions within the app. You can continue chatting through words or introduce a gesture when you want to change the interaction.

The Character Notices What You Do

The actions go beyond decorative effects. ReBot recognizes the interaction and uses it to shape its response.

Throw a tomato, for example, and you can see it hit the robot's face. The character also acknowledges the event in conversation, generating a response to what just happened.

This connects three parts of the experience: your action, its visible effect, and the character's reply. Something you do on screen becomes something you can talk about together.

Repeated Actions Can Change the Conversation

How would a character respond if you interrupted it with the same action twice? ReBot can acknowledge repeated interactions rather than treating each one as an isolated visual moment.

For example, after two virtual punches, a character might ask, “Why did you do that?” or say, “Don't do that again.” The wording can vary: the interaction becomes input for a generated response rather than simply triggering one fixed line.

From Exchanging Messages to Interacting with a Character

We see this as an important step forward for ReBot's character-chat experience. Your words are no longer the only way to participate: an on-screen gesture can introduce affection, surprise, mischief, or tension into the conversation.

It also creates new moments to explore. How will your character react to flowers? What will it say after a tomato lands on its face? You can try an action and discover the response.
