Privacy in ReBot AI: On-Device Conversations and Anonymous AI Requests

ReBot AI keeps conversation history on your phone and sends AI requests without attaching your identity. Sharing and publishing remain your choice.

A conversation can be personal, creative, or simply something you want to keep to yourself. In ReBot AI, privacy is built around a clear principle: your conversation history stays on your phone, and you choose what to share.

When you ask an AI-powered question, the request is sent to GPT or Gemini without ReBot attaching your name or a personal identity profile. This separates the processing needed to generate an answer from the storage of your conversations.

Your Conversation History Stays on Your Phone

ReBot AI stores your conversation history on your device rather than keeping it in a ReBot server-side conversation archive.

Whether you are chatting with your robot, learning with a character, or exploring a role-play scenario, your saved conversations remain on your phone. They are not automatically published on the website or made available to other users.

AI Requests Are Sent Without Your Identity Attached

To generate an AI response, ReBot needs to send your question and the context needed for that response to the selected AI provider, such as GPT or Gemini.

ReBot sends these requests anonymously, without attaching your name or a personal identity profile. The provider processes the submitted content to produce an answer, which returns to the app.

Keeping history on your phone does not mean that AI processing happens entirely on the device. The distinction is straightforward: conversation history is stored locally, while the content needed to answer an AI request is sent for processing.

The text you write is still part of that request. If you include your name or other identifying details in a message, those details are included in the content the AI receives.

Creating a Character Does Not Automatically Make It Public

In Character Universe, you can create characters and explore conversations without automatically publishing them. Your private interactions do not become public simply because you use a character or play a scenario.

Publishing a scenario and sharing a conversation are separate choices. You decide when you want to make content available to someone else.

Share Your Creativity on Your Terms

You may want to send a character link to a friend or publish a scenario for others to discover. ReBot supports these creative choices while keeping private use separate from public sharing.

Public creator attribution uses an identifier rather than requiring your real name to appear. This lets you contribute to Character Universe without presenting your personal identity as the author.

Understand Where Your Data Goes

ReBot’s approach combines on-device conversation storage, AI requests without an attached personal identity, and user-controlled sharing. External AI providers handle submitted requests under their own policies; local storage does not describe or guarantee those providers’ retention practices.

Your conversations stay on your phone. Your identity is not attached to AI requests. What you share is your choice.
